Why securely mount the Geekom mini-PC in the shelf?
Securely mounting a Geekom mini-PC into an Ahmrac Labchassis rack shelf involves a few steps but is easy and ensures that the mini-PC will stay put even when the rack is moved or even held upside down. While this is not required, it is recommended for any installation where the mini-PC will be subjected to vibration or if the rack will be moved from place to place.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Place the Geekom mini-PC upside-down on a flat surface with the power button facing to the front. Place the upside-down shelf over the mini-PC.

- Secure the mini-PC into the shelf using the two Vesa mounting screws included in the package with the Geekom mini-PC.
Steps for mounting the Geekom-bundled DC power supply in the shelf*
*NOTE: Mounting the Geekom-supplied DC power adapter inside the shelf is only supported for shelves with no KVM and with the NanoKVM Lite. If you want to use the NanoKVM Full or JetKVM in combination with the Geekom mini-PCs, then the DC power brick must be placed somewhere else.
- Insert the DC power brick into the cavity in the rear of the shelf, with the AC power jack positioned as in the image, with the bundled wire above the power brick. The three-prong AC power jack should be on the far side from the mini-PC.

- Thread the cable through the PSU cover panel, placing the notch facing up. Secure the PSU cover panel using the included M3 x 10mm Phillips head screws.
