Installing a NanoKVM Lite into a rack shelf

Required Items

  • LabChassis rack shelf with NanoKVM Lite mounting
  • 2 x M3x10mm machine screws
  • Sipeed NanoKVM Lite
  • 1 foot slim HDMI cable
  • 1 foot USB-C to USB-A cable (Some mini-PCs may also be able to use a 1ft USB-C to USB-C cable)

Assembly Steps

  1. Insert the NanoKVM Lite at an angle into the KVM bracket with the Ethernet port facing the bracket.
  2. Press the NanoKVM Lite towards the bracket until it "clicks" into bracket.

  3. Insert the HDMI and USB-C cables into the NanoKVM Lite. Slim 1-foot cables are highly recommended. Thick HDMI cables may not bend tightly enough to fit in the shelf.

  4. Bend the HDMI and USB cables back over the KVM through the slot in outer face of the KVM bracket. Slide the bent cables into the shelf body.

  5. Slide the rest of the KVM bracket into the shelf and secure the bracket using 2 M3 x 10mm Phillips head screws.

  6. Connect the HDMI and USB-A cables to the mini-PC. If more length is needed, pull the cables out slightly from the shelf.
